Payment Proposals

Finansify can automatically analyze your transaction history and find patterns — for example, that you pay ~55 PLN for Netflix every month or ~1,500 PLN for rent. Based on this, it proposes creating recurring payments.

Premium: This feature is available on the Premium plan.

How does it work?

  1. Go to the Recurring payments → Proposals page
  2. Click Analyze
  3. AI analyzes your transactions in the background (this may take a moment)
  4. Results appear as a list of proposals

Analysis phases

After clicking "Analyze" you'll see a progress bar with phases:

  1. Fetching — collecting transaction history
  2. Grouping — finding similar transactions
  3. Analyzing — detecting recurring patterns
  4. Deduplication — removing duplicates

Reviewing proposals

Each proposal is displayed as a card with:

  • Name — detected payment name (e.g. "Netflix", "Rent")
  • Confidence — percentage indicator of how confident AI is in the pattern:
    • Green (>=80%) — AI is very confident
    • Yellow (60–79%) — fairly confident
    • Gray (<60%) — low confidence
  • Frequency — detected frequency (e.g. "Monthly")
  • Amount — typical amount (green = income, red = expense)
  • Category — suggested category
  • Transaction count — how many transactions were used to detect the pattern

Proposal list — 3 cards: "Netflix" (99% confidence, 54.99 PLN, monthly), "Rent" (95%, 1,500 PLN, monthly), "Store XYZ" (62%, ~120 PLN, monthly). Each with Accept/Reject buttonsProposal list

Filtering proposals

You can filter proposals by status:

  • Pending — new, awaiting review
  • Accepted — already accepted (payment plan created)
  • Rejected — rejected by you
  • All — shows everything

Accepting a proposal

When a proposal looks good:

  1. Click Accept
  2. Finansify automatically creates a recurring payment template based on the proposal
  3. You'll be redirected to the newly created template

From that point on the payment works like any other recurring payment — it generates instances, reminds you of due dates, and you can mark them as paid.

Rejecting a proposal

If a proposal is inaccurate (e.g. AI detected a pattern where there isn't one):

  1. Click Reject
  2. The proposal changes status to "Rejected"

Rejected proposals stay in the history — you can view them by filtering by "Rejected" status.

  • All data from the card (name, frequency, amount, category)
  • Transaction list on which AI based its proposal — you see the specific transactions that formed the pattern
  • Accept / Reject buttons
